A beautiful day here in ATL got us pumped to build our coop! We got the call! Our chickens have arrived and are peeping it up at the Decatur Post Office. The postal worker seems to share my joy, and my husband Seth begrudgingly joins in on the pick up journey. We are waiting on our shipment of peeps and couldn’t be more excited.  We have everything we need for our little cheepers, I think: we have an aquarium with a lid, a heat lamp, cheep cheep food, and shavings. Darral, our 5 year old son, is tickled to pieces and can’t wait to meet his new charges – he’s taking care of them all by himself, he proudly states.
