About Us
We are a specialized medical billing group focused on Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing under Medicare Part B, Chronic Care Management (CCM), Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and professional E/M services. Our mission is to ensure accurate reimbursement and compliance through exceptional billing, coding, and audit practices.
Position Overview
We are hiring a highly experienced Internal Auditor to independently conduct detailed billing and documentation audits for SNFs, CCM, RPM, and Evaluation & Management (E/M) services. What Youll Do
  • Perform internal audits for services billed under SNF Part B, CCM, RPM, and professional services
  • Validate E/M level selection by comparing provider documentation to Medical Decision Making (MDM) criteria
  • Identify overcoding or undercoding trends and provide recommendations for correction
  • Ensure CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding accuracy including appropriate modifiers and place of service
  • Create thorough audit reports with clear summaries, findings, and corrective actions
  • Lead provider education sessions to review audit results and improve documentation practices
  • Develop and manage your own audit tools, reporting templates, and tracking systems
  • Make proactive recommendations for process improvements and compliance enhancements
What Were Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in medical auditing and coding, with focus on SNFs, CCM, RPM, and E/M services
  • Advanced knowledge of E/M MDM guidelines (2021+ standards) and Medicare billing rules
  • CPMA, CPC, CRC, or similar credential from AAPC or AHIMA required
  • Comfortable working independently in a contractor role with minimal oversight
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and apply CMS guidelines accurately
  • Skilled in Excel and audit tools, and experienced in working within various EHRs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in provider education
Why Join Us?
  • 100% remote and flexible schedule
  • 1099 contractor model
  • Work directly with leadership and providers
  • High-impact role focused on quality, integrity, and provider support
  • Opportunity to shape internal compliance strategy
To Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter summarizing your experience in:
-SNF Part B billing audits
- CCM/RPM compliance
-E/M leveling and MDM validation
-Educating providers on documentation improvement
You may also include redacted examples of prior audit summaries or provider feedback you've facilitated.
