Part-Time Contract Reviewer (Up to 10 Hours Per Week)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Reviewer to assist our team on an as-needed basis, up to 10 hours per week. This individual will be responsible for reviewing supplier and vendor contracts to ensure they align with company standards and identify potential risks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, part-time setting and brings a solid understanding of contract law and risk mitigation.

Please note that we are currently focusing our recruiting efforts within the state of North Carolina. Commuting distance to our headquarters in Greensboro, NC is a requirement for all candidates.

• Employees residing within 50 miles of Pace HQ will be expected to follow our hybrid work policy, which includes working on-site every Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Employees living between 50100 miles from Pace HQ are required to commute to the office once per month. During the training period you will be required to commute to the office twice a week.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Review, analyze, and provide feedback on supplier and vendor agreements.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate modifications.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to align contract terms with business needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping of contract reviews and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred; active North Carolina Bar membership not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract review, legal document analysis, or related legal/compliance work.

• Discretion handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skill with great attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with marketing, media, or creative industry contracts is a plus.
• Comfort with working independently and handling varying levels of contract complexity.
