Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to help oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of all machinery and equipment, and maintaining safety standards.

Purpose

• Ensure equipment and utilities are in working order through maintenance activities and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement.
• Communicate with management to acquire all required equipment and utilities.
• Communicate instructions to maintenance personnel.
• Work with contractors for installation / modification of utilities.
• Work with suppliers for new equipment specifications.
• Review the building layout for new equipment specifications.
• Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
• Manage all required maintenance activities.
• Any other related duty as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Job Qualifications

Education

• High school Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Technical training and education are preferred

Experience

• 3-6 years' experience in management preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in maintenance preferred.

Abilities, Knowledge, & Skills

• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent math skills.
• Blueprint reading.
• Fork lift and ariel lift operator experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Must possess analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
• Must be thorough and exercise attention to detail.

Physical Demands

• Five-day work week that may include overtime as required.
• Highly physical, ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment
• Hair net, safety glasses, and ear plugs in required areas
