Title : Quality Assurance specialist

Duration : Month to month assignment

Location : Remote

Proficiencies: Banner Ad & Email quality assurance. Available for 12 PM - 8 PM Shift work

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manual functional/compatibility testing of web/mobile apps, websites, emails, and all digital media.
• Writes clear, articulate test plans and files well-documented bug ticket.
• Prioritize bug fixes site-wide based on severity and scope.
• Champion the need and value of a robust testing culture
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, coding standards, libraries and frameworks.
• Ability to make basic code fixes
• Testing & Troubleshooting
• The effective sharing of user experience and quality assurance insights, recommendations. Updates with internal and external team members.
• Website and Application Testing; e-mails and banners.
• Creates documentation to identify what is being planned for testing.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Able to read/write simple HTML in order to edit code.
• Must be competent with all major Internet browsers, able to use both Mac & PC, understand browser plugs-ins (Java, Flash, etc.), familiar with tablet devices (Android, iPad) and smartphones
• Exceptional knowledge of software development lifecycle and how it intersects test practices and quality assurance.
• Proficiency with Version Control Systems and bug tracking software
• Demonstrates a basic ability to program in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Jquery)
• Articulate writing skills
• Proactive self-starters
• Able to juggle multiple jobs with fluctuating deadlines strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Fine attention to detail
• Able to work well with colleagues, vendors and clients.
