Hi there! We are the Beauchamps. My name is Tanya, and my husband's name is Nathan. We are transplants from Raleigh, NC. We are approaching our second year in Anchorage. We live in the Southside. We have three children. Arya is 7, Emmy is 5, and Joey is 3 years old. They are polite, nice, sweet, and cheeky kids. We are looking for extra helpful hands. Our girls just started school. They are homeschooled but attend a co-op twice a week. Between all three of them, there is always something scheduled. My husband is a busy Geologist and is always traveling for work. Those are the times when I need the most help, so I tend to schedule appointments in the afternoon to avoid disrupting the school's schedule. We’re looking for someone kind, patient, fun, and flexible with activities. Good communication and organizational skills are important, and we’d love someone who can keep the kids engaged. It’s also helpful if you have experience with after-school routines, can watch the kids while I take one to an appointment, and are available for occasional date nights. We hope to hire a sitter starting in September. Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience working with young children (not just family). CPR and First Aid certification are required, along with a clean background check. You’ll need reliable transportation, be at least 21 years old, and provide two professional and one personal reference. Each assignment will range between 2-4 hours and occasionally a full-day assignment (with prior request only). If this is you, we would love to talk with you.
