Education: Bachelor's degree, with coursework in statistics. Master's degree in data science, statistics, or related field strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in predictive analytics, forecasting, and data visualization modeling techniques, working with large data sets in a professional setting. Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations. Ability to retrieve, analyze, and present data in meaningful formats (tables, charts, graphs) to various audiences. Demonstrated proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R), business intelligence tools (e.g., Cognos, Argos), data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word). Excellent attention to detail. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders. Mastery of writing clear and concise documentation, summaries of methodologies, and descriptions of statistical results. Prior experience in higher education preferred.
