This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team and contribute to the success of our organization. **Duties** - Utilize advanced legal case management skills to efficiently manage multiple cases and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects. - Conduct thorough research on legal matters, utilizing tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw, to support the preparation of legal documents and litigation. - Collaborate with attorneys to draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, with attention to detail and a keen eye for proofreading. - Interview clients and witnesses, taking detailed notes and summarizing information for legal proceedings. - Assist with estate planning, including drafting wills and trusts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Litigate cases in court, as required, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior paralegals and staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law office or similar setting. - Proficiency in legal case management and research tools, including Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. - Excellent legal drafting and proofreading skills. - Strong interviewing and communication skills. - Experience with estate planning and litigation. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. - A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
