Job Description

Busy and fast-growing company seeks a career oriented, stable, full time Production Administrative Assistant. Successful candidate will be an energetic professional who has a fine eye for details and data entry/analysis, and enjoys contributing to the success of the team.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Compensation: Hourly commensurate with experience

This position is Full Time. Our regular production hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00am – 3:30pm, with rare but occasional overtime. Position is on the Production floor (non-climate controlled factory environment)

Job Location is on the West Side of Jacksonville.

After 3 months of employment, employees are eligible for benefits including medical/dental/vision and PTO (vacation/sick/personal days - this starts accruing on day one). We also offer a 401K plan with company match.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

An overview of areas of responsibility is below, however, this is a newly created and evolving position, so special projects or additional duties may develop over time.

  • Reviews Jobs ready for Production to determine production schedule based on optimization of raw materials
  • Schedules jobs into the production calendar based on FIFO
  • Print and distribute Production Directions to departments as directed by Production Manager
  • Basic administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents.
  • Manage inventory of consumable items throughout production departments and place replenishment orders for same
  • Review time cards for production department, adjust time cards when required, log PTO requests
  • Print Departmental forms or labels as needed
  • Process Termination/Resignation Forms
  • Support Production Manager with tasks that are administrative in nature (typing forms, documents, excel sheets, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and GSheets, as well as knowledgeable in the use of ERP software
  • Attention to detail, while being able to prioritize/multitask based on need.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
